The crew arrived first thing in the morning and got to work right away. They were polite and professional. The job took a little over two hours. The picture attached shows the results. They did the upper and lower roofline. The other items we did ourselves. In retrospect we probably should have chosen the softer lighting, but that's just a matter of taste. They did a very good job with what we asked them to do. Our problem was with the expectation setting of the installation date. We signed the contract on Nov 15th, and Ken said they could get our job done on Dec 5th. We balked a bit on the timing but he said they were ahead of schedule and would let us know if anything came up sooner. We agreed that the 5th would be fine. On Dec 4th we got an email from Thumbtack saying they'd be at our house the next day between 12 & 3. On the day of the job, 10 minutes before they were to start we got a text from Ken that they couldn't get to us due to weather. I asked when, and he said they were hoping for Saturday. Saturday passed, nothing. I asked if Sunday was doable, he said we were on the schedule for Sunday. Sunday passed, nothing. Monday morning I texted asking if they would be there that day. No response at all. Later Monday, I had to send a text stating if they weren't there by Tuesday at noon, we were going to buy lights and put them up ourselves. The crew arrived Tuesday morning. Telling a customer the job would be done, then not doing it multiple times is not good business practice. Looks like they're new at lights installation. They need to get much better at knowing their capabilities, then setting proper expectaions with customers.
