Introduction

I would love to take away the frustration of math always being taught in new ways and make it super easy. All of your kids’ lessons will be unique and tailor made just for them! If they need a brain break, for example, because of a difficult concept, we do things like online mazes. A couple times a year I do “cooking with fractions “ where we cook online together and I sneak math in, in a FUN way😀 I will focus on your child mastering the basics like the times tables and long division, interspersed with interactive activities and games. I love love love tutoring and have been doing this for over 30 years. I have 3 kids of my own and live in the beautiful state of Colorado.

My two boys (ages 8 and 10 now) have been working with Amy for 2 years. They love her and always look forward to working with her. Amy has been able to keep my younger one's attention (not easy) while they do relevant math problems together. With her help, my younger one has been able to stay at level with math. Amy has been challenging my older son with on-line games and puzzles that are just above his current level. Amy mixes it up sometimes and does cooking activities, too! She is always on time, never cancels, is flexible for us if we need to occasionally cancel. We think she is the best and feel so fortunate to have found such a wonderful remote tutor!!

We have been working with Amy for several months now. Amy is passionate and I often think she may be kids’ mind reader. The way she approaches my daughter with low-confidence in math is really amazing. She tries to build basic tools and also introduces new concepts like a magician! My rates begin at $35 for a half hour. Students pay on a monthly basis.
