We were in the process of trying to interview contractors to replace our kitchen and dining room flooring with a new wood-grain vinyl, and our living room and hallway with laminate flooring. When we first contacted Asmir, he said that he could come by later that day, and he did. He was very prompt in getting back to us with an estimate, and he was able to put the job on his calendar at the time we needed. Asmir remained in regular communication with us throughout the process. He is very professional and reliable. We couldn't be more pleased with the outcome...the floors look beautiful, and his work reflects attention to detail. Asmir takes great pride in his business, and we would recommend calling him for your flooring job.

Moving to Colorado from another state, we were nervous about finding a reliable flooring contractor, but Urban Design exceeded our expectations. Asmir and his talented team of installers were reliable, courteous and knowledgeable. They refinished our existing hardwood floors and added new hardwood to two rooms. We couldn't be more pleased with the end result. They showed up when they said they would and finished the job within the estimated time frame. We love how our floors came out and are thankful to Asmir and his crew for the amazing job.

At the start I was very pleased with the owners professionalism and manners of his staff. As the project came to an end Asmir would not take responsibility to finish putting stain for our hardwood floors where are oven and fridge are. He said "oh some people don't care" I asked him to fix that. Then and hopefully I can post the horrible stain job that his crew did to my walls and baseboards. Asmir did nothing but blame "us" for "just knowing we should have them repainted" there was excessive mess left behind. We are now in the process of finding a floor company willing to finish this mess of a project. On top of that its day 1 of the refinished floors and we have "white" spots soresfing like chicken pox all over our floors. Guess what? When Asmir was told about this he completely ignored is or to assess this/resolve this on anyway. Instead he has threatened me and said he would put a lien on my house if I don't pay by tomorrow. I've explained to him that in America, a job completed means "completed". If you want stress, anxiety, and a horrible mess in your house hire him. I'm didsapointed I didn't go with a larger more well known hard wood floor company.

If you're looking for someone you can trust to install/refinish your hardwood floors and/or install tile or engineered floors, Urban Design is a company that you can truly trust. When another hardwood floor company ruined my floors, Asmir (owner) more than made up for their incompetency. Asmir walked me through the process with knowledgeable expertise and made some valuable suggestions. He did everything he could to accommodate my ASAP schedule request. The tile workers were on time, professional and did an incredible job on the three rooms they installed. James, the hardwood installer/finisher, was early every day, extremely personable, and an overall hard worker. The 1000 sq ft of hardwoods he installed and refinished came out beautifully. We also had engineered floor installed throughout our basement, and we couldn't be happier with James' installation. Overall, I would rank Asmir and Urban Design with an A+ and would recommend them to anyone.
