They overbooked themselves and tried rescheduling last minute the day they were supposed to finish the job. They did come late and work until the job was done. That being said it is clear they rushed through the project. There is mudding all over the upper parts of my kitchen cabinets and the attention to detail was not there in certain areas. They matched the texture well enough with the existing texture finish, but you can still see the difference. I was hoping to have a working relationship moving forward for more drywall jobs with Juan, but I am not sure we would contact them again.

Juan was amazing. Super responsive and well priced. Juan started the project on August 18th but got a call a few hours in about a family emergency. Like the only negative review listed on Thumbtack for him, I was a little upset my timeline would be thrown off. Juan later wrote to explain his grandmother had passed and apologized profusely. And since I’m not a self righteous asshat, was able to put myself in his shoes and not write a scathing crappy review because I was an socially unaware asshat. He finished the job on the 23rd and it turned out wonderfully. 10/10 would hire him again. Did I mention the review below mine came from a seriously disgusting human?

Juan is a magician! Asked him to do various patch jobs around the house. Showed up on time and ready to work with all supplies. Wonderful job protecting the house from work dust. Had a ceiling patch, an old basement window patch, and smaller holes from old outlets and doorknobs. All were done very well and for a reasonable cost. Wish I could find other home professionals that could do that quality of work in an efficient time frame for a reasonable price. Would hire again in a heartbeat.
