We will be taking Mr. Moyer to small claims court for $3000+ in both overcharges for work not done or damages from incorrectly installed shoe molding and laminate resulting in concaved flooring throughout the home. He was removed from Thumbtack due to these concerns. He is a liar and a fraud, and our biggest mistake was hiring him instead of paying properly for a reputable contractor. His contract fraudulently claims he has liability insurance. He will refuse to provide you with the needed information for his alleged insurance when you request it after he damages your home. I also encourage you to run a simple criminal background check on him before he enters your home, as if we had done this initially, we never would have trusted him, which would have saved us literally thousands of dollars in damages we will now be working to recover.

John is a machine. He installed all the flooring and brand new baseboard for my 1100 ft² condo downtown in less than 2 days. 21st came to evaluate my unit that I had recently purchased, immediately saw that there was two layers of flooring and accurately assess all the issues that would have to be addressed because of it. John showed up early each morning raring to go. He didn't stop to eat all day. He just kept on going until the alarm working hours in my building were up. When he was done, all he wanted to do was offer help with more tasks in my remodel. He proceeded to help me far beyond his original scope with a smile on his face. John was focused on quality, customer service, and value for me the entire time. He has a lot of knowledge for beyond installing flooring. His experience with demolition gives him great insight as to how things fit together and how things are put together. He instinctively near what was going on behind the walls. I had a criminal contractor do a bunch of illegal wiring and shoddy Plumbing in my home. John was able to accurately predict what was going on with things that were out of sight. When we eventually opened up the walls to fix what was wrong, John was right about everything. He gave me value far beyond the money that I paid him. I am very grateful Two thumbtack for introducing me to him. I own several rental properties and Will surely am divine more in the future. John will be my first call each time when I do. We had a great experience with John. We started with a kitchen remodel, and things were going so well we did the entire house - including basement. We change the house to open space and couldn't be happier with it. He masterminded a whole new basement, including bar and entertainment are (see pictures). Thumbs up to John and a recommendation without hesitation.
