- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I try to have reasonable rates but I do sometimes travel farther for jobs meaning I need to charge enough to cover gas. But I don’t want the pet owner to feel like they are overspending. I always say what you are comfortable and think is fair works. Some pets are more work so maybe a little higher is more reasonable and sometimes it’s just a quick potty visit nearby. But do consider I have to cover gas and wear and tear on my car with all the driving I do. Thank you!
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I’ve always loved animals since they are so sweet and genuine. I’m completely an animal person. Any and all I will love them completely. It’s an extremely fun job for me and let’s me get to hang with pets daily which is so fulfilling.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
All kinds! I have learned that people who have pets are the best kind of people. Most are understanding that animals can be tricky and messy sometimes but are so loving and cuddly and adorable that it makes up for it! I just ask that you communicate any worries or important details so your pet(s) is taken great care of!
