FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I am flexible on pricing on a per job basis. Some jobs have a lot of variables or will basically be a lot harder. I take these all into account when looking at a job and communicating with a customer. I will be up front on how I would like to proceed with a bid and or an hourly rate. Large companies may charge anywhere from 85 to 150 dollars an hour plus the cost of materials, vehicles and other add ons. As a one man outfit I have total control to adjust prices because I am not bound by a large companies policies and billing requirements.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically, it is some basic texting or a phone call followed up with a home visit. If the visit is short and or close to my location and we agree to proceed with the work it is typically free. If the site is somewhat far or requires extensive research and planning before an agreement I may charge a one time small and affordable fee that we will discuss prior or day of which is due at time of inspection with or without continuing with the work after a walk through of ideas and cost.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Everything from very large electrical and general contractors down to my local neighbor and family friends.
