FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When working with a new customer, I start by learning about their dog’s unique personality, behavior, and training needs through an initial consultation. From there, I create a customized training plan tailored to their goals. During our sessions, I focus on teaching foundational skills using positive reinforcement methods, while also empowering the owner with tools and knowledge to continue the progress at home. Throughout the process, I provide ongoing support, feedback, and adjustments to ensure the best results for both the dog and their family.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a dog training for over 10 years in positive reinforcement basic obedience training. I also come from a family of dog and horse trainers.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I got started as a dog trainer over a decade ago because of my love for dogs and a desire to help them live their best lives. It all began when I worked with my own dog, realizing how effective positive reinforcement training could be in building trust and shaping behavior. That experience sparked a passion, and I began studying canine behavior and training techniques, eventually working with other dogs and their owners. Over time, I turned that passion into a career, and I’ve been dedicated to helping dogs and their families ever since. My journey has been fueled by a deep commitment to making a difference, one dog at a time.
