Manipulative pricing - charges by trailer load at (12x8x2) was told this is a typical low boy Brings a smaller not low boy trailer (6x9?) loads it to about 2ft with room and charges for full load

I cannot say enough about how this man helped me out of a last minute bind. I had what I thought was a small job of disposing of some furniture and actually discovered it was a 2 day job. He showed up a second day for me on Easter and didn't price gouge me. He and the other man were very nice, worked quickly, very thorough, very clean, timely, honest, and very cost efficient. I wouldn't consider anyone else for junk removal. He even came 2 days in a row during the severe winter storm. He had this fully cleared out in no time.

They responded quickly to my texts and picked up items on time so responsiveness was good. But they charged more than the $299 quoted. When they saw that it was more than $299 worth of junk they should have called me before doing more than the amount that i approved. Instead they loaded everything and sent a bill for $499. They lowered to $399 after i complained but never acknowledged that they should have called me before doing unauthorized work. I would have hired the other vendor i found had i known they would charge $499. They are experts and could see that it was a truck full. So why didn’t they call to discuss before starting the work? I feel scammed.

Very professional, quick response, reasonable pricing, no haggling. They ran about an hour late, but called to let me know (it is LA after all). Had no issues piling all our stuff in their trailer and taking it away. Friendly, even helped us move a couch to a new location (I tip well). Thank you, great job!
