Apr 22, 2019 Nancy C. ***** JoAnne is extremely talented. She worked with me to completely transform my bathroom, within my budget. I had recently gone through a divorce and the bathroom had been used by my ex-husband. I needed something that was completely new, not just a fresh coat of paint or a design update. In our initial consult JoAnne listened and asked questions. I let her know I loved wainscoting and that I needed a bathroom that was entirely opposite from what I had. She immediately understood. Not only did she work with some of my suggestions, but she offered solutions that fit my budget (wainscoting was too expensive, so we went with white subway tiles halfway up the wall—which are fun and beautiful). She took the bland off-white walls to a beautiful rich gray, removed the medicine cabinet/mirror and replaced it with a huge mirror, painting the thick trim white, then added a sparkly light fixture above the mirror. She even sourced the perfect floor tiles from Overstock ($36 total!) in a driftwood gray. I absolutely love the transformation; it truly is my own and reflects my sensibility and aesthetic. Yes, JoAnne worked to make the elements and design beautiful, but what she did also brought an internal shift allowing me to move forward in my life. Thank you, JoAnne!
