Introduction
I've been the pianist at Chateau Marmont for 3 years and play at the Maybourne hotel in Beverly Hills. I attended Berklee School of Music in 2012.
I believe anyone can play the piano. My goal is for every student to build an authentic relationship with the instrument.
It doesn't take hours of practice a day, just consistency :)

Mr. Diaz and his straightforward approach have been the highlight of my piano journey! I tried a few lessons/teachers in the past but was always frustrated with reading music and music theory. Mr. Diaz taught me his "chord forward" approach with a more practical way to learn all my favorite songs on my own! Definitely money well spent.

I’ve taken all kinds of music lessons and really wanted to give piano a try. I was lucky enough to meet Nelson and start taking lessons with him and it really is one of the best choices I’ve made in a long time. Nelson is an amazing teacher; he’s extremely patient, explains things well, and his love for the piano is infectious.

In the eight months I've been taking piano lessons from Nelson I've acquired a wealth of knowledge in chords, technique and styles. He is extremely talented, patient, kind and makes learning so much fun! I highly recommend him as an instructor.
