For Wedding Choreography, I find out what the couple wants and needs, and tailor it to their song, style and preferences .
For example, are they more understated or do they like to really be in front of others when they dance?
In my classes, I go around the room and help the students individually, rather than just showing steps and they are on their own if they get it or not.
Watching students progress with their dancing, by learning the steps , having fun, and seeing the expression of dance in their movements and on their faces is my joy.
I also offer a five hour package at a discount. Ask me about that.

My fiance and I have taken 2 lessons with Kathy so far so we can do more than just sway around for our first dance. I love it but the Mr., who has little to know dancing experience, loves it less. Kathy is a great teacher and I think after 2 lessons, and heading into the 3rd, we've figured out the best way to teach the Mr. to foxtrot.

Kathy is wonderful! She makes it easy to learn and has a way of helping you relax and have fun. Her home dance studio is bright and airy and she always greets you with a smiling face. Kathy has helped my fiance and I learn the rumba for our first wedding dance. We are making excellent progress and we can't wait to show off our new moves to our guest at our wedding reception! What a great dance teacher! I am so happy that I found
Kathy Levyn. She is amazing. I have had several privatelessons and am learning so much. She has so many ways to teach that make it easy and fun. She has a wonderful personality. The best part is I'm gaining more confidence. If you need a dance teacher, I'd highly recommend her. She got me to dance and I'm going to my first ballroom dance to test it out! I also went to a practice dance and I survived! I love it. I plan on being with Kathy for a long time. I love that she has flexible hours, her prices are very reasonable, she is fun to dance with, and is a very nice person. You will learn so much, have fun, and it is great exercise.

My fiancé and I are taking ongoing dancelessons with Kathy. She is very knowledgeable and she is helping us learn the steps we will need for our choreographed first dance. She gives a log of steps we have learned so we can practice at home. Very passionate woman and a good teacher!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I base my prices on a private lesson at my home studio for one or two people at $85/hour.
I also offer a package of 5 hours with a discount.
There is an additional price for lessons of small groups at my home studio, and going to your locations.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will go at your pace and abilities in learning the steps and styling and then create a special dance for the type of event you are having.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a background in Ballet and Jazz which assists my work in partner dancing and the Ballroom and Swing training at Arthur Murray studios.
