- How did you get started doing this type of work?
In 2005 I got engaged and loved every part of planning our wedding! Right after our wedding in 2007, my sister also got married and I helped her plan and decorate her wedding, a month later exactly my father got re-married, I helped plan and decorate that one as well! All the three weddings were within 4 months of each other, we were one busy family! I loved every aspect of the whole wedding process if it was for myself, my family, my friends, or clients. I decided that wedding planning was the best route for me to go, enjoying every minute of it!
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Our most recent jobs have been day of coordination for weddings. We've also helped with the decor elements for some of those weddings, from helping find a cake decorator, to finding a photographer that is a perfect fit.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I would look around, and get quotes from everyone you can find. Just because someone is expensive doesn't always make them a good match for your event, the same goes for someone that's rates are cheap. You need to find someone willing to work with you, who listens to your ideas and helps you make your day perfect without breaking the bank.
