Unlike our competitors we offer a wide variety of handyman work to be better suitable for clients looking for small fixes or additions to their old or new homes. This includes patching, painting, TV Mounting , shelving , Low Voltage Electricity ( Ask us about more during the estimate). We are proud to say that all our employees are highly trained and experienced in meeting the needs of any clients and executing a job outline in a timely and effective manner. We provide free in home estimates!

I’ve moved so many times over the past decade—including two cross-country moves in less than a year—that I’ve lost count of the horror stories. My wife and I have been burned so many times that even when a company starts off great, we’re left with an awful experience in the end. Moving again, now with two small babies, felt overwhelming and terrifying. We were exhausted, scarred, and genuinely dreading the process. J&G Moving did an amazing job with our move! The movers arrived really early on special request and handled all our items with care and were so helpful with reassembling all our items once we arrived at our home. They were nice and professional and I will definitely be rehiring when we move again next year.

The guys did a great job! Walked over 10 miles to move us, but they never complained! They even had to disassemble some furniture to get it up our new stairs safely, but did it quickly!

We moved during the hottest day of the year. Around 110F. There were 4 people came and work on the moving process. They did amazing job in that heat. Appreciate all the process so much. We have a new Samsung fridge to move and since it’s too big to pass the door, they had to take off all the doors. Long story short the bottom light was off because the cable got cut off and top door got dented. John, very professional, he told us to call Samsung and see if the warranty will cover it. Nope! Because it was our own fault. John offered to pay full repair cost without question. We’re so grateful for that. I don’t think other companies will do above and beyond like this. 100% we recommend J&G movers

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We are a very straight forward and easy going company. We have absolutely no hidden fees, every charge will be explained during the estimate. We only charge for two things: 1. For local moving we charge by an hourly rate of $50 per crew member. These labor charges include truck, moving pads, and furniture dollies, and also disassembly and reassembly of furniture.Each job is different and every job requires a different amount of movers. 2. Material which is tape, shrink wrap, boxes, bubble wrap, packing paper, mattress protectors, crates( for delicate items such as tvs,paintings) etc. If you supply the material the day of the move then you will only be looking at labor charges.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We provide free in home estimates for our new clients which includes a walk thru of there old home and there new home and the process of the actual move. At the end of the estimate the client is left with the decision of moving forward with us at no charge and no obligation. If decided to move forward these are the next couple of steps: -Pick a date and time - Get booked in ( client receives contract via email) - We take a deposit to hold your date ( once deposit is made we guarantee arrival) - We check in the day prior to make sure client is still on track and ready for pack/move - Foreman will check in prior to being dispatched and arrival. -Once the team arrives the clock starts -Once job is completed clock stops
How did you get started doing this type of work?
We both started off as regular movers and worked our way to foreman and then eventually overseeing the companies we worked for. We were able to accomplish this because of our work ethics and meeting the needs of our clients.
