Photographer, dress fluffer, dog person, 90's music enthusiast, tie-dyer, vanlifer, Sierra Nevada Specialist. Hi, I'm Joleen! Love Wildly is a California elopement photographer based out of the Sierra Nevada Mountains near Yosemite National Park & Mammoth Lakes. I've been photographing weddings for more than ten years. When a friend asked me to photograph her Icelandic elopement I had no idea the impact it would have on my wedding photographer's perspective. Over the course of 10 days we drove around the country. My couple experienced so many slow, quiet mornings. They cabin hopped across story book landscapes. There was so much joyful anticipation that lasted days as they visited waterfalls, and hot springs, and caves. When they officially got married a few days in, their excitement was not diminished in the least. And the best part was, the adventure wasn't even over yet. This experience put into words what my photographer's heart had been missing for my big wedding couples: Time and space to react without an audience, while being in a beautiful location intentionally chosen for themselves. After returning home I found myself seeking out moments of privacy for my traditional wedding day couples. I realized that a wedding day didn't have to be fully "traditional" and that my desire was to support and guide those brave enough to depart from tradition and dream up the way they wanted to mark the date.

This might be a little long but bear with me. I cant quite pinpoint where to start but almost from the moment we decided to get married Joleen was helping us plan and organizing and being so supportive! She knew some amazing spots and we settled on the first one she had shown us (really knew our style) unfortunately it is winter at the time and that spot had some snow and some concerns arose for the people attending the ceremony but she immediately worked around it and found us a beautiful spot that we also loved. Her being a local to the area was a god send! She also had so many connections with vendors and knowledge of places around us that were super friendly and caring to our needs. We couldn't imagine how disastrous and stressful the weeks leading up to and even the day of the event wouldve been without her. Seriously If you are considering it let this be the review or sign you were looking for to book her. She showed up in the morning ready to take our pictures. We were still running around getting ready and grabbing the last of the little things we needed. She grabbed a couple of the things lying around and took a couple pictures of the vibe of our pieces and made a little spread that looked gorgeous and my Wife loved it! We left after grabbing a couple more photos (with our fur baby as well of course) we stopped by a local cafe to grab some grub and headed out to the place itself. We set up and after we had a couple more directed photos then the ceremony started and she was amazing it felt like another friend at the wedding and the entire time she was taking great photos. My Wife was radiant and i didnt look too shabby we started the reception and it was the same just good times all around at a beautiful spot with great company. At that point it was later in the day and we started wrapping up she helped us so much and we are truly grateful and honored to have had an amazing person such as herself support and make us feel important on our day. I cant stress enough how happy she made us. Thank you Joleen!!!!

Joleen provided us photography services alongside other phenomenal vendors she works with via the Range of Light Wed team. She coordinated our timeline, flowers, food, my hair and makeup, and our elopement day was absolute perfection.Joleen was personable, professional, and flexible with our plans and helped us brainstorm ideas for how we'd love our special day to look. She was up for 4x4ing into a remote alpine lake location that is special for my husband and I.Not only did she capture phenomenal photos of our day, but she was prepared to jump in and provide support for anything we needed. When I decided I wanted some mountain wildflowers in my bouquet, she pulled scissors out of her fanny pack, disassembled my bouquet, and expertly added in the flowers.I can't recommend Joleen enough, and if you are looking for a full "concierge" elopement, definitely look into using the entire Range of Light Wed team.

Joleen is not only SUCH A TALENTED photographer but also such a nice person which is such a rare combination these days. She also planned the elopement wedding timeline with such great detail and made sure that she was always there for any question. The photos turned out SO nice. It's bright without the colors being washed out-just perfect.it is an understatement to say that I am SO GLAD we ended up working with her as the experience couldnt have been better.

I cannot say anything more than that you NEED to hire Joleen for your adventure/elopement wedding! My husband and I were overjoyed to see the photos she captured on our special day. The entire day felt like an adventure from sunrise start to sunset ceremony finish -- never once did it feel like we were taking photos for the sake of taking photos. It truly felt like we were just hanging out, taking hikes, and enjoying all the beauty Mammoth Lakes had to offer. That was literally all thanks to Joleen -- she was integral in planning our special day, reminding us to bring all of the little things that we would have never thought to bring, and helping us find the coolest places to hang out and take some photos.
