FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I try to make my prices as fair as possible. I try to be fair to both the customer and to myself as well. When I say myself what I mean is not under selling my art work. Many many hours of work and dedication I have invested into my skill, but at the sametime I try not to make my rates too high because I love drawing for people. Making people smile and enjoy themselves gives me the ultimate satisfaction.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Well I try to keep my rates the same for both new and returning customers. I try to meet a customer's wants the best I can. I describe my process briefly when I send my initial quote.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelors of Arts degree in Design which incorporates drawing, color theory, sculpture, drafting and painting. Design emphasizes composition and anatomical understanding which both help in drawing caricatures or other art work. I worked also for Kaman's Art Shops for 5 years drawing Caricatures for Knotts Berry Farm before now having my own caricature business. This is my 24th year as a caricaturist.
