Mitsuko did such a beautiful job on my wedding florals! When I first walked into my consultation with Mitsuko, all I had was a few pictures of some flowers I liked and a general idea that I wanted a fall, rustic winery wedding. As I described each area of my wedding venue to Mitsuko, she enthusiastically offered suggestions and ideas that would help beautify the different spaces with her arrangements, while sketching designs for me to help visualize the concept along the way. She was extremely well versed in a variety of different flowers and in that meeting, even offered suggestions for my table seating numbers, escort cart holders, and other décor around the ballroom that would tie in with my theme. I remember leaving that meeting feeling such a sense of accomplishment knowing my wedding day VISION was finally shaping together! Mitsuko is not just any florist; she is truly a designer who takes the time to understand how her florals work together with the entire wedding, the venue, the wedding party outfits, etc. I was so thrilled that my wedding was eventually featured on Elizabeth Anne Designs’ wedding blog, showcasing Mitsuko’s beautiful work. http://www.elizabethannedesigns.com/blog/2012/05/17/red-green-champagne-winery-wedding/ I definitely recommend Mitsuko to any bride!

Link to my wedding.. http://www.elizabethannedesigns.com/blog/2013/04/24/elegant-pink-beverly-hills-wedding/ We had Mitsuko do our wedding florals and we were truly floored by the amazing arrangements she designed. We gave her a basic color scheme and outline of what we wanted and we let her decide what flowers to incorporate. The final products were truly better than anything I could've imagined. We received many compliments regarding the all the floral arrangements. Even our other vendors were floored by how beautiful our arrangements were and kept commenting to us about them. A lot of our family members noticed that she and her team were working really hard to make sure all the flowers looked perfect. I had 2 venues that wasn't so close together and she made sure everything was all set up in time. Mitsuko rates are incredibly reasonable for everything she creates and she doesn't nickel-and-dime you for everything. We consulted with some floral vendors that seemed to be fairly reasonably priced but then they would charge for every little thing, including staying after the ceremony to move the florals to the reception (even when it's at the same venue) and for other changes/add-ons. She was also able to help us stay within our budget by offering cost-cutting suggestions and repurposing different arrangements throughout the night. Her taste is spot-on and I think she's definitely a perfectionist! At some point, I remember just telling her, "Go ahead and pick everything out! I trust you!" and she did not disappoint. She is incredibly professional and she responds to emails very fast. Thank you soooo much Mitsuko for making my wedding so beautiful!!

FAQs

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

We are the specialist of floral arrangements for weddings, special events and parties. However, as we used to own a flower shop in Tarzana, CA for 15 years, we are able to make any type of flower arrangements for any occasion upon request of clients. Our floral arrangements are all custom designed and custom tailored for each customer. Please check us out on our Facebook fan pages. Also, more samples of our floral design can be seen on Elizabeth Anne Designs wedding blog featuring our recent works.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

First of all, we would like to suggest customers to hire a well-experienced florist. It means the florist has a long history in the flower industry. Being recognized in the industry means he/she is established and honest. A florist with longer footmark in the industry has the superior position in designing, coordination, taking measures to cope with the (unexpected) situation, and procurement knowhow which makes the big difference in cost and freshness of flowers. Due to the lack of industry-wide network and preparation knowhow and experience, the orders may have the risk of being screwed up on the very special day of the customer. Also important is to select a designer/florist with whom a customer can share the sentiment. A sensible florist listen to the customers and try to find out the customers true needs and create the arrangements respecting the customer's palate for colors and style while providing a professional advice to meet his/her budget.
