Until now, most training programs have been based almost entirely on the experiences and goals of bodybuilders, coaches, and athletes. Scientifically unsupported training programs are not designed to meet the needs of our increasingly de-conditioned and injury-prone society. I use NASM’s exclusive Optimum Performance Training method represents the industry’s first and only comprehensive training program based on current scientific research that provides undisputed results specific to individual needs and goals. By incorporating multiple types of training—flexibility, cardio respiratory, core, balance, reactive, speed, agility, quickness, and strength—into every program, this method improves all biomotor abilities and builds high levels of functional strength, neuromuscular efficiency, and dynamic flexibility. Since I moved to Thousand Oaks and started driving an hour to LA every day, I just let any exercise fall off of my calendar. Too much work to get to the gym before the drive, anxious to get home after the drive. I let myself get so out of shape, that I was afraid of injuring myself if/when I started up again. I got tired, I got chubby & irritable. Something had to change. I made a commitment, but the easiest, no-excuses commitment I could come up with: I hired a trainer to come to my home 2 mornings per week, + Saturday at his private gym. Personally Designed Fitness has turned things around for me. I am stronger, I look better, I feel better. I’m less irritable, I sleep better. When it rained all last week; I would not have been going to the gym, or done a workout app on my phone. But I knew my trainer was coming TO MY HOUSE (no excuses!) to work out, so I got out of bed, got dressed, did my workout - and as usual, felt tons better once we were done! Personally Designed Fitness is ultra-professional: on-time, focused & my trainer knows what he is doing. Every time we’ve met to workout, I’ve been on the edge of thinking the workout was a bit too much for me. But it hasn’t been. It’s been much, much more than I would have made myself do, left to my own devices, but I’ve not been hurt or injured. I just have that sore feeling that lets you know you’re not wasting your time & you’re getting stronger. I’m considering buying sessions for my husband and daughter for Christmas. We all deserve an “accountabili-buddy” to help us hit our goals!

Jack Potter is very professional and extremely knowledgeable when it comes to fitness. He demonstrates the excercise and is very attentive when I am doing the program. He explains the reason for the excercise and discusses which muscle group will be working. He is very friendly and extremely encouraging. He pushes me hard which is why I hired him. I know after the workout I have worked really hard. I highly recommend Jack as a trainer, you will not be disappointed. He is awesome!
