FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I like to use flat fees for most of my projects - I find that clients like to know what their bottom line will be. In order to do that, I start all my projects with a 2 Hour Consultation that costs $400. This meeting allows me to assess the project and the scope of work so that I can accurately quote my full design fee. I also make sure to fill this meeting with tons of value for the client so that they have plenty of direction and advice to work with, even if they choose not to move forward on a full project.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I start all my projects with a comprehensive 2 hour consultation. Then I present a Design Fee Proposal. Once the client signs a Letter of Agreement I work on a design presentation - including 2D space plans, 3D renderings, a furnishings and finishes plan and a budget breakdown. We then have a formal presentation with samples, etc. Upon agreement of the plan, we move forward with procurement, storage & deliveries, installation and finally (the best part), the big reveal.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I received my design certification from New York Institute of Art & Design. I worked as an in-house designer for Restoration Hardware and ran my own Interior Design Business for 4 years.
