I updated my coaching skills in 2023 at the Rafa Nadal Academy training and learning from the best tennis coaches in the world. I first learn the goals of the student. Then determine the best path to reach those goals. I believe building a love for the game is key to reaching your potential in ANY sport.
Every student is unique and the way they learn and get motivated is unique as well. I pay very close attention to the personalities and tendencies of each student so a can adjust my coaching style to be the most effective coach in reaching the goals of my students. Whether you are a beginner child or an adult wanting to learn the game, a junior wanting to become an elite high school, college, pro, or an elite club player I can help you become your best.
Below are my certificates and some photos of my son and I at the USC tennis camp this summer as well as a photo of him with Brett Masi, the head coach of men’s tennis at USC. I spent the entire week with him at the courts studying all of the latest training techniques, drills, and competitive games they play to make the training sessions most effective and fun for the students.
For the serious students I also offer some unique and innovative post training tools that are extremely effective. I capture the student on video and send them a link after practice with notes on the practice day to review what they did or did not do properly. Seeing is believing!!
