Dan and Chris were absolutely wonderful to work with! Dan was available from the start for any and all questions, including random questions like how to get a marriage certificate and when to do so, and also began preparing our day of schedule and to do lists early (several months before the wedding) at my request as I was getting nervous about being sure we weren’t missing anything. Chris ended up being our day of coordinator and was so great! He led the rehearsal, ensuring everyone knew where to go and what was expected. It was detailed with everyone’s questions answered, but also quick and easy. He ran around all day making sure the DJ was set up, tables, chairs, a sign-in book, the flowers at the front of the aisle, etc. He made sure everything was ready to go for the grand entrances and was my eyes in all the places I couldn’t be on my wedding day. He was everywhere, somehow always out of the way, but right where I needed him. Our wedding went off without a hitch largely due to everything Chris did those 2 days. The value for the money was incredible - sooo worth it!I feel like we got so much more than just a day of coordinator. We also rented a bunch of stuff from Creative Happens and Chris made sure it was all there on the day of and set up for us. A speaker and mic for the ceremony, parasols - which the kids LOVED and made for amazing pictures, seating chart framed mirror, etc. I cannot speak more highly of Dan and Chris and our wonderful experience with Creative Happens - they MADE the day and there’s no way I could’ve done it without them!

Dan went above and beyond for us! Our wedding had a lot of moving parts and he and his partner made it all work out smoothly. He was attentive to every little thing we wanted and was very communicative the whole process. Made us feel very secured for our wedding day. Awesome Job By Dan!!! Dan was Day of coordinator for our Wedding. He was very professional, punctual, responsive, and nice to work with + a life saver at last minute when I realized I forgot packing my wedding guest book to the venue (last minute) and hunted the ( lost) bridal bag down that had our ceremony essentials and a very special perfume that my husband had given me the day before and held a lot of sentimental value - he did not have to do it but he did it :) he did not just do an excellent job he went above and beyond. I was a very relaxed Bride, something that is not very common for brides! I highly recommend Dan and his team! Thanks Dan

Working with our day-of coordinator Chris was a breeze. He's relaxed, personable, professional, and clearly experienced in navigating the ins-and-outs of a successful wedding day. In the months leading up to the wedding, he took the time to carefully understand our needs on the day of the ceremony. On our rehearsal day, he herded our wedding party and offered helpful suggestions without being pushy. He shined through most by troubleshooting absolutely everything on the day of the wedding - working with venue staff, watching to make sure we were following our schedule, and communicating necessary info to us tactfully and calmly. What you need most on your wedding day is someone you can trust that understands the wedding vision and can see its execution through to completion, filling in the holes where you may have missed them and handling the unexpected when you are at your most stressed. Chris earned our trust through and through and I cannot recommend him enough.

From the BEGINNING of planning our wedding, I knew that the first thing I had to do was get help with it. I needed someone who was helpful, kind, hardworking, creative, organized, experienced and knowledgeable in all things weddings because I did not have a clue in where to start. I spoke with a few people from various companies vying for my business, but from the first moment I spoke with Dan, I could immediately tell the difference in how efficient & knowledgeable he was in wedding planning and coordinating. He explained everything very nicely so we could understand. From the start, Dan was so helpful and an expert in all things weddings so we knew we were in great hands. Let me begin by saying that I was floored by the level of organization, efficiency, and genuine helpfulness of Dan + Creative Happens went above and beyond bring my wedding vision to life, ensuring every detail was not only included, but exceeded my expectations. All the moments of Dan’s suggestions & collaborations, I am so grateful for- especially on the day of our wedding, when so many things could’ve gone wrong, he made sure they happened & made everything right. Thank you so much for suggesting the first look - we recently lost our fur-baby (our dog & best friend of 14years) - and having her be a part of our first look meant the world to us & these are memories that we will genuinely cherish in our hearts forever. We were able to eat, drink and be merry/married. And we actually got to enjoy our special day thanks to Dan and his taking care of us as a couple. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We offer excellent low-rates for both "Day of" coordinating and full wedding/event planning. We're happy to send you a rate card covering our most popular package pricing. This includes "Day Of" Coordination starting at $1,250, Partial Planning Packages between $3,900 and $4,900 and Full Wedding Planning starting at $5,900. We customize the rate to best fit your wedding goals. We also offer Party and Event Coordination and Planning rates starting at $1,250 (based on the size of your event).
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once a customer has expressed interest in us and we decide to work together, we work closely with them to plan out their every need for the wedding or event, ensuring that when the day comes, they're able to enjoy themselves while we handle the logistics.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our team of 2 Wedding Planners and 7 Coordinators have over 22 years combined experience on more than 500 weddings and events.
