Introduction

Hello I'm Aaron, swim instructor based in Sunnyvale. I have over 30 years experience coaching kids and adults. My students typically improve very quickly, whether they are complete beginners or need refinement with your swimming technique. YOU WILL NEED ACCESS TO A HEATED POOL. I customize each lesson to the needs of you. I know swimming can be a fearful, anxiety induced experience for many, but with my patience and encouraging teaching style I always see lots of improvement. I emphasize proper swimming technique, as that is how one becomes proficeint in the water. I prefer one-on-one swim lessons, but a shared lesson with older kids and adults are good also. I start teaching at age 4. Don't hesitate to contact me. I usually respond in a few hours or at the end of the day. You will need access to a heated pool that allows a private coach in the South Bay Area.

My 5 year old daughter has been taking swim lessons for less than a month now with Aaron and she has made so much progress. She learned to swim in the first few sessions and is not confident to swim on her own all across the pool. She used to be very afraid of diving and going to the dapper part of the pool but is now confident and shows a lot of skills. I highly recommend Aaron. He is very patient with the kids and takes his lessons seriously, is always on time and very flexible with his schedule. Highly recommended for swim lessons!

Aaron gave two of my grandsons a beginners swim lesson. He communicated very well, was professional, and taught the lesson according to each personality. My grandsons were very responsive and learned a lot in a short period of time. Aaron recognized each of their strengths and focused on them. Aaron has been a great teacher to my 3 year old daughter and 5 year old son. My son was swimming after his first lesson!! They have both improved tremendously in a short time! I gave Aaron an A+. He’s fun and professional and we will continue to use him!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer 30/45/60 min lessons at $75/$112/$150 for one-on-one lessons. For a shared two person, 30min lesson, the rate is $105. For a shared two person, 45min lesson, the rate is $145. For a shared two person, 60min lesson, the rate is $180.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I initially ask for a liability release that can be signed electronically. Then we can discuss time and location of the swim lesson.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been a swim instructor since 1990. I've worked will all ages of people, including adults. I work in special education so I have a great deal of experience with teaching challenging students. I've taken many water safety and swimming instructing classes throughout this time. I have a current CPR/AED certification.
