Introduction
"I am a personal Chef at Carmel by the Sea and Monterey area. I do the shopping, create the menu, set up and clean up my station, like to present verbally the menu to the client and guests ( if allow) and do what ever it takes to run a smooth and enjoyable occasion. I attended college at Palma de Mayorca, Spain to study Hotel and Tourism management for 5 years. ,While I traveled trough all Europe learning how to eat and educating my "palate" . I Co-owned French restaurants in VA, rated with 4 diamonds by the Mobil guide for 12 years,i was at the front and back of the house knowing all the aspects of running a successful establishments. Private chef in Miami for a high end individual for 8 years and worked in mega yachts as a free lance during the summers in order to get new experiences in tastes and cultures while traveling to different places. I enjoy it teaching cooking classes as well. My main goal is pleasing my client and guests with his suggestions and my creations. To be creative, to work with fresh produces in order to nurture our bodies and to enjoy the taste and pleasure of eating well. To meet all kinds of different people and cultures and of course, seeing the empty plate after . Teaching and sharing my knowledge from my travelers learning experiences in taste and cultures!

Luisa is gem - she is a great cook and enjoys her craft like only the best craftspeople do. She is pleasant and very accomodating. It was fun working with her to plan the menu. If you are looking for a personal chef for a meal of your life look no further.

We had a terrific experience with Louisa. I received 4 quotes for our dinner and I am very happy that I chose hers. We were flying into town for a golf trip and I needed her to do everything, shop, prep and then cook and serve the meal at our rented house. She and I went through some menu choices and created a full menu that turned out beautifully. She came prepared and on time and also cleaned up after so we had no mess. Our food was perfect and made for a terrific night. I would choose her again in a heartbeat and highly recommend her for professionalism, a great demeanor, food quality, value for the money and also responded to my bid request quickly. She was a delight to work with and such a sweet and pleasant person to have around.

Wasn't sure what to expect, never used Thumbtack before. From the very beginning communication was very good and continued throughout our experience. I was able to pick out 4 recipes from Luisa's Facebook page which showed a large selection of beautifully prepared dishes. We communicated via email on what my cooking goals were. Luisa arrived on time at the condo we were renting with all the fresh ingredients. We got started right away and had a wonderful time. Luisa is obviously very experienced and shared her knowledge of cooking with great tips and advice. My husband and I were able to join in and assist or stand back and take notes. Luisa stayed and shared the final dish we prepared, and we had a great time talking and laughing with her. In fact, we are getting together for dinner with her before we leave. We not only discovered some great recipes, but also a new friend!

Couldn't have asked for a better chef :) Luisa is an amaziiiing cook ! We celebrated our sons one-month birthday and wanted to have a intimate party at our place only for the family members. Luisa helped us with setting up the menu and gave us amazing suggestions to accommodate the dietary needs. We had a nice 4 course Mediterranean dinner. The lamb chops and fresh guacamole were both out of the world. She even made delicious Margaritas for us , then followed by an a awesome three course meal. She is an awesome cook and much above that a wonderful person. Will definitely seek her help a lot more in the coming future.
