David and Rico just left my house and I'm very happy with the work they did on our cement slab patio in the backyard. It's made up of approximately 20 6x6 ft concrete slabs. Over the years, each slab had tilted up or downward to varying degrees, so there were a lot of unsafe high edges that family and guests we're tripping on. Each slab had to be adjusted differently, while still maintaining a general slope away from the house, for drainage. It looks so much better now, and is much safer too.I highly recommend this company and these two guys, in particular. Tthey know what they're doing and they did it in less than a day!

We just had our home inspected by Dan. He was very professional and did a very thorough job inspecting our home. He communicated very clearly what is going on with our foundation along with pictures he had taken. He gave us very clear information on our options for repairs and was very supportive of our wishes. We never felt pressured to do more than what our budget could handle or sign a contract on the spot. Thank you Dan for your great service!

Discovered that the retaining walls in my basement have huge cracks when I was able to sell my home. Hi everyone,I don't usually write reviews, but this person and this company is outstanding. I bought my house in 1987 and it had (and still has) a basement that was wet and a sump pump. In the year 2021 I hired a contractor to remodel my 2 bathrooms and when he removed a part of the floor, the basement was covered with black mold and some of the walls needed to me taken down. After 9 weeks in a motel and several thousands of dollars, I was able to move back in. Now the basement is still as wet as ever, and I am uncomfortable living here, can't sell even with a disclosure for reasons I won't go into now.Then I found Mark Brill at Bay Area Underpinning. He came here and spent hours investigating my situation, and coming up with a solution with a dry basement guarantee! Out of the many companies I have had here, Mark was the very best! I'm 78 years old and have problems hearing, but Mark is extremely knowledgeable easy to be with, patient with me and repeated and explained everything over again! Mark also took lots of pictures, explained them to me, where they are in the basement and clearly what was needed.It was because of Mark and his sincere explanations of my situations and his company I chose Bay Area Underpinning.
