I could not recommend Mehran more as a driving instructor. I started my driving lessons in a parking lot, when I was not even confident with making turns, thanks to his incredible patience and teaching style, I was able to pass my test on the very first attempt.

Mehran is an awesome instructor. He is smart, informative, punctual & has lot of experience in driving lessons. He knows what is doing. Just trust him and he will make sure you pass the driving test. He works with you like a friend, help you to understand things needed for driving test. He also takes you to DMV for the driving test. I messed up my first attempt and that was purely my mistake but he got the appointment for the very next day and this time I passed. I give all credits to Mehran & really thankful for his support. It’s not easy being an instructor to a student with very little driving experience. Mehran is a very good instructor who showed me what mistakes I was making and how to fix them. He was very patient and answered all my questions. I still need to take more lessons with Mehran before attempting the driving test. I am optimistic that l will get my license very soon.

Haithem was amazing at explaining what I should do and should not do before my driving exam. Although I am familiar with driving I was making mistakes on reading the signages and maintaining recommended speed limits until I got the lesson from Haithem.
He might seem stern, but I would recommend you go with it because he really wants you to succeed. I also rented the vehicle from him for my test and he stayed with me the entire time even when the driving exam was delayed from 3pm to 4:30pm.

It doesn’t matter where you are with your driving skills, you are going to learn a lot, and become a more confident driver. Mehran quickly analyzes the areas which needs work and tailor your session accordingly. If you are working on getting your driver license, he will make you drive through all possible paths the DMV instructor can take. This way he makes you do your best in the test.

Nice guy, Haythem was prompt; however, my experience was not the same as folks described. While he was professional and extremely patient, l did not like his approach. Prior to my first lesson, l sent Haythem a note explaining that l have zero driving knowledge. I was surprised that he chose a very busy road for my first lesson.
Being a novice on a busy road with a lot of traffic is unnerving. I appreciate the fact that Haythem wanted to push me; nevertheless, from my perspective, he did not listen to my concerns. I left the lesson feeling stupid because of the errors l made and the way he reacted. Needless to say l felt extremely anxious and belittled by him.
l was hoping to book 5+ lessons with Haythem. After returning from the first session, l decided to cancel my next lesson. Reviews are subjective, this is based on my engagement with Haythem.

**Highway and freeway driving & buying a car**
After passing my driving test, I embarked on a quest to purchase a second-hand car on a very modest budget. As a first-time car buyer in the USA, the multitude of options left me feeling bewildered. My confidence in selecting the right car was further shaken by my limited knowledge about car mechanics and what potential buyers should consider. Once again, Mehran came to my rescue.
He not only assisted me in picking out a suitable second-hand car, a Toyota Lexus hybrid, through a connection of his, but he also went the extra mile. Mehran personally inspected the car, meticulously outlining its pros and cons. He even helped me with extra lessons for driving on highways and freeways, ensuring I become a well-rounded driver in record time.
Fast forward a month since the car purchase, and I've already completed numerous grocery runs and even embarked on a 280-mile round trip to Monterey, CA. The car has proven to be reliable, cost-effective, and an absolute joy to drive. I am certain that without Mehran's invaluable assistance, I wouldn't have had the foresight to secure such an exceptional car at such a remarkable price.

I have taken two driving lessons with Mehran before my test for two hours each. I also took a warm up class before the test to get into that momentum. Firstly, he is super knowledgeable about the test, roads on which the test might be conducted, and even the rare routes that we might be asked to go to. He knows exactly what to do in each of the situations like making lane changes, turnings, intersections etc. He was extremely vocal about my mistakes, corrected them immediately and made me practice multiple times so that i don’t repeat them. He is encouraging and super honest about giving feedback. I passed the test with only three mistakes, and lot of credit to him for helping me out. I highly recommend Mehran for taking driving lessons if you are looking for a DL (all levels of expertise).

As I had very little driving experience before meeting Mehran, I was unsure if I will be able to get my license soon. We started with practicing in the parking lot. He gave a lot of good and thorough feedback on mistakes I made which helped gradually improve my driving skills. He also took me over all possible DMV routes multiple times and pointed out common mistakes which can lead to failure.
We did many sessions back to back which helped keep the pace and sped up the process. Mehran was very patient, as he helped fix even small mistakes that I kept making even after repeatedly pointing out. After some sessions, he suggested that I book the driving test. I was able to find a slot in the upcoming week, but there was very little time to practice. Mehran was very flexible in scheduling, he moved other sessions to accommodate my schedule and he made sure that I had enough practice before the test.
I was still not feeling very confident but he believed in me and told me that I was ready. I trusted him and took the test. We also did a session just before the test to refresh everything and that really helped me pass the test in first attempt! :)
Apart from passing DMV test quickly, I believe that his lessons are invaluable in becoming a good driver and everyone should learn from him. He is a great teacher and also very good human. He is the best person to reach out to for driving lessons. Highly recommended!

I took 6 sessions with Mr. Mehran and passed the test. He will persist until you get the skill right. His instructions are clear and he'll repeat so that it sticks with you. If you choose to go with Mehran for your driving test just make sure you take the lessons with less than a week's gap. He has a lot of students to manage and it might be difficult for him to remember where exactly you needed help after a big gap.

I approached Mehran as I wanted to take the driving test. The first session was him reviewing my driving and suggesting how many classes would be required before the test. His approach was specifically from taking the dmv test point of view. We practised at the dmv routes. Mehran was fantastic with his knowledge of the routes, what the examiner will check. He tells you exactly what to do at the turns, lane changes, intersections, dmv exit, dmv entrance etc. He is extremely technical about the driving requirements and it is almost like he is reading the book but he is not. The actual dmv test is not a surprise at all since he has gone through all of the scenarios with you. He was happy to answer my questions how many ever times I asked him. Also, he is kind and understanding. That makes the process and the test smooth. Additionally, he finished up the whole process of the practise session and the test within a week so that the student doesn’t forget what he taught due to a gap in between the lessons. His approach works very well for the candidate taking the test.
