I am a certified teacher with the French Department of Education (Education Nationale), and I was a high school teacher near Paris for several years before moving to Los Angeles. I have been trained to work with all types of students and to apply efficient pedagogical methods and curricula, to make your French learning as fun and as fast as possible!
Whether you are a high school student struggling with homework, a professional preparing for a trip to France, or a retiree who wants to polish their French, my approach is to explain the logic of the language, because you can memorize better what you understand.
I always provide you with the basics that will allow you to build your own sentences, and not only to repeat pre-made expressions. I also use a wide range of material and settings to teach (grammar lessons and conversation of course, but also literature, cartoons, flashcards, games, writing workshops, mini-plays...). You will never be bored!
The plus that my students love: I give them lessons and worksheets that I design myself, and help them organize them to create their own French workbook, that they can reuse forever. This includes homework, and questions in between lessons of course.
