While they were very responsive to setting up a meeting for a free estimate, they indicated moisture where they thought there were wood support beams, yet the “beams” were regularly placed metal support pieces for the roof. This, every 48” was a “really soaked” area but only for those 2”x 3” areas. The temperature reads were actually showing Coker metal pieces. We would have opened up holes in the roof to get the wet support beam fixed only to find cold metal pieces. It should have been noted that water damage would not only affect a wood piece, rather water would naturally expand to other areas had there been water damage. The superficial cracks they pointed out as evidence of water entrance were just the house settling and were not related to water damage (on the metal supports!) Be aware that this company will only provide water removal for a damaged area, you will still need to hire a contractor to fix the wall after they open it up and dry it out. Having just one pro for the whole job makes more sense.

Hi Genelle, thank you for your feedback. We do feel it is important to note that the technicians that went to your home did state during their conversation with you that there was no way for us to know if behind the drywall was wood or metal, since you asked if it could possibly be metal, and that they suggested that you might cut a small exploratory cut yourself in order to verify. The technicians also noted that you have a built-in dehumidifier in your home and suggested that you guys use this to assist with eliminating any moisture buildup that you may have a problem with as a preventative measure and of course less expensive since it's already built into your home. Additionally, you are correct, we do only handle the water damage portion of the job. We do not handle the rebuild, and thus we do not advertise for it. We appreciate your feedback that it makes more sense for you to hire one pro to handle the entire job and there are certainly contractors that do this, but it is not our business model. It is not our area of expertise nor are we licensed for rebuilding and so it would be a disservice to our customers and ourselves if we were to offer the rebuild service. We hope you understand.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Most jobs that we do are handled through the insurance claims process, and our billing goes directly to the insurance adjuster. However, we are also able to work directly with our clients who are paying out of pocket. Payment plans available.

Typical process is informing the customer choices. There’s a couple ways things can be done whenever there is a water leak within the property.
