I work hard to make sure that my cinematography services feel as personal as possible. All of my work begins with conversations in which my clients and I get to know each other a bit.
For weddings, it's important to me to find out what each clients' wedding will be like, and what style they're looking for in a wedding film. Music plays a huge part in determining the feeling behind a film, and I always bring clients in to the decision-making process around what music to use in the film. On the day of the wedding, knowing what style of music we're using will help guide the style in which I shoot.
I love capturing little details. Decorations, emotions, and little interactions that embody the feeling of being there on the wedding day are my favorite things to film. Every wedding is different, and I like to let the shooting process emerge organically as the day unfolds.
I love weddings. Finding someone to spend your life with is one of the most joyful things that happens in life. My own wedding day was the best day of my life and I'm honored and moved to be a part of such an important day for so many people.

Sean did an excellent job. From our first meeting I could tell that he cared about understanding exactly what we were looking for in our wedding video. He captured moments perfectly and most of the time I didn't even know he was there! When we received the videos he made we were blown away at the quality. We didn't plan on even hiring a videographer because we hired a photographer. After seeing the video, I can tell you that it was the best decision we made for our wedding and reception. Having those moments captured forever with people and audio and the emotion at the time. It's something you can't see in a picture. The music he put on the video was perfect for the moments he put together. I'd give Sean my recommendation for anyone looking to capture life's important moments. Sean has a great eye for little details and captured a lot of great moments on our wedding day. The highlights video had me crying in the first 30 seconds as it brought me right back the our wedding day. It took a few months to get the product from him, but he communicated timelines clearly and the wait was well worth it as he created a beautiful and meticulous masterpiece, pairing the music with the video perfectly. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is laid out clearly on my website, but I'm always happy to answer any questions and have conversations about custom packages to meet clients' needs.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always start with a meeting where we discuss your wedding and your stylistic preferences for your wedding film. Music is always a big piece to figure out as it establishes a lot about the tone of the film, and I love getting couples' input about what music they'd like in the film, which helps inform my shooting on the wedding day. I've found that a balance of proper planning as well as letting organic moments unfold during the shooting process results in very natural-looking and personal wedding films.
Next comes a walkthrough of your wedding venue (whenever it's logistically feasible). Usually I'm just accompanying you on the walkthrough you may already have scheduled, or just meeting you at the location if there's no official walkthrough. Here, we'll talk about where cameras will be placed
Finally I'll get connected with your other vendors like your planner, photographer, and ceremony sound engineer to coordinate with them about how we'll work together.
On the day of the wedding, your only task is to be present and enjoy the celebration of your love.
Final videos are generally delivered 3 months from the wedding date, but I'm always open to figuring out faster turnaround times when there's a desire or a need.
Throughout the process my goal is remain open and accessible and make the process as smooth and stress-free for you as possible!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BA in film production from Elon University, which I earned in 2006. I opened Rennergy Productions in 2010, and since then I have worked as a media developer at several higher education institutions.
