FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is laid out clearly on my website, but I'm always happy to answer any questions and have conversations about custom packages to meet clients' needs.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always start with a meeting where we discuss your wedding and your stylistic preferences for your wedding film. Music is always a big piece to figure out as it establishes a lot about the tone of the film, and I love getting couples' input about what music they'd like in the film, which helps inform my shooting on the wedding day. I've found that a balance of proper planning as well as letting organic moments unfold during the shooting process results in very natural-looking and personal wedding films. Next comes a walkthrough of your wedding venue (whenever it's logistically feasible). Usually I'm just accompanying you on the walkthrough you may already have scheduled, or just meeting you at the location if there's no official walkthrough. Here, we'll talk about where cameras will be placed Finally I'll get connected with your other vendors like your planner, photographer, and ceremony sound engineer to coordinate with them about how we'll work together. On the day of the wedding, your only task is to be present and enjoy the celebration of your love. Final videos are generally delivered 3 months from the wedding date, but I'm always open to figuring out faster turnaround times when there's a desire or a need. Throughout the process my goal is remain open and accessible and make the process as smooth and stress-free for you as possible!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BA in film production from Elon University, which I earned in 2006. I opened Rennergy Productions in 2010, and since then I have worked as a media developer at several higher education institutions.
