I had decided that for the holidays I would search for someone on Thumbtack to come clean my home’s roof’s 20 solar panels. The first company I had contacted through a websearch had completely let me down, not showing up to my house at all. I felt defeated, however LEARSI on Thumbtack not only quickly responded to my inquiry, but showed up to my house smack on time. I was elated, but this was just the beginning of an excellent service that became a memorable experience that has totally jumpstarted my holidays! Itai, the owner of LEARSI, was extremely professional and visually impressive. He arrived in a spotlessly clean van with beautiful graphics and full of what looked like brand new equipment. He jumped out of his van and told me he would set to work straight away. And that he did! He didn’t even enter my home, instead quickly climbed my first and second story rooftops from the outside, using an impressive modern ladder extraordinaire! After a little while up there, he came down with photos and a full report for me. He showed me how the roof itself was also very very dirty, affecting all my roof’s Spanish tile. I decided to “clean everything” and that’s exactly what he did, literally leaving both roofs, the solar panels, as well as my skylight, completely shining and spotless, as if they were brand new! When the job was over, he also completely cleaned up, reducing all leaves removed to one remarkably small adorable pile of brown wet leaves, and the paint on my exterior stucco house was left looking like new as well. I LOVED the equipment used, from the hose and ladders to the power wash and solar panel scrubbers! I have to say that I’m not a customer who normally is very easy to please. I find fault in most work done at home, but working with LEARSI was a TOTAL JOY. Itai was polite, friendly, hard working, honest, detail oriented, knowledgeable, professional, and also very kind and considerate of my own very fixed budget. I learned that LEARSI also does all sorts of home remodeling work, so I now look forward to working with LEARSI again soon. I asked Itai to send me some photos of my roof project, so that I may post here. I very confidently, gladly, and enthusiastically recommend LEARSI for your solar panel or any home remodeling work. I am extremely content with the service I received from LEARSI. I felt very safe using LEARSI and I am grateful to Thumbtack for the introduction. I love my home, so knowing that I now have spotless rooftops and solar panels is a great feeling indeed. Thank you, Itai!

When our solar panel cleaner retired, we found Itai Learsi on the Thumbtack site. Itai was a real find! Aside from solar panel cleaning, he’s an accomplished professional in several other areas of home maintenance and construction. Our small job under-utilized his capabilities, but Itai cheerfully tackled the assignment, and cleaned our rooftop solar 16-panel array in over 100-degree heat. And, he did a stellar job. Our dirty, sticky solar panels look like new. Before starting, Itai explained the process in detail and promised before and after pictures. He noted that our gutters were clogged with leaves and debris from the large trees on our property. He also mentioned an accumulation of raccoon poop on one side of the roof, and for a fee that he let me determine, we agreed he would clean out two rain gutters and the animal scat on the roof. He also hosed down our side patio and an entrance with too many spiderwebs. It was a brutally hot day, but Itai was very cheerful and did the work to our satisfaction. He’s a charming and personable man, and I enjoyed our conversations. I also appreciated that he quoted us a first-time customer discount rate and honored it; and to show the quality of his work, he let us set a price for the additional work we agreed he should do once he saw the condition of our roof. One ding: The software his company uses seems overly complicated. His texts came through on email as Simple Text documents. You cannot respond to his texts because it’s an automated system that doesn’t receive responses, and that caused some delayed communications. The work order he sent me was 5 double-sided pages when printed out, full of contractual legalese I found a bit over-kill for the assignment. Perhaps they should modify and simplify these documents according to the complexity of the project. With those minor caveats, we enthusiastically recommend Learsi for excellent solar panel cleaning. We paid $119 for the solar panel pressure wash, and an additional $75 for the extra roof and gutter cleaning work. And a very good job it was!

The panels were covered in a thick layer of dust and grime since it hadn't rained in nearly 5 months. I'd noticed a slight drop in production despite the sunny summer days. I contacted Learsi for a cleaning. They were fast to respond and gave a good quote. They arrived on time. They cleaned the panels with pressure washer and solar panel cleaning brush, finally rinsing them with deionized water. The end result was panels looking as clean as the day they were installed. After monitoring for the next few days I saw a consistent 13% increase in energy production. Overall I'm very satisfied with the work and would recommend them!
