Introduction
I’m a California based artist who has been professionally producing and teaching art for the last nine years. I studied at the atelier Angel Academy of Art in Florence, Italy for four years under the training of world-renowned artist, John Angel, who himself was a student of the great Pietro Annigoni. Poetry Annigoni is best know for his painting of Queen Elizabeth.
While home in California I have been an instructor at Los Angeles Academy of figurative Art, Laguna College of Art and design, as well as, teaching students privately in my studio. I have also been teaching students through the charter school system, from kindergarten through high school, for 7 years. I have a variety of skills in the field of classical art, including an extensive knowledge in the use of mediums such as graphite, charcoal, acrylic, and oil paints. I have been commended as a teacher for my enthusiasm and ability to pass on knowledge to all ages. My Moto is “Anyone can paint”! And I will equip you with the tools necessary to do so.

Andrea Mosley is among the finest and most talented artists I have ever met. The quality of her work is exceptional and speaks for itself. As an art instructor she is the best I have ever experienced. I have taken lessons from several people and art workshops by many more and I have never encountered anyone with her aptitude, helpfulness, and careful attention to detail. She is always sweet, encouraging, and informative. She creates a friendly environment that nurtures any artist of any level along. It is a joy to be in her weekly class and I have been taking lessons from her for a few years now. As art instructors go, she is definitely a keeper and I highly recommend her for anyone interested in art instruction (beginner to expert).

An incredible human being with a wealth of knowledge! Her eye for oil is impeccable, and she is amazing at sharing what she knows with you, regardless of your starting level. I have never painted in oil before working with Andrea, and in the few weeks that I have spent under her instruction, I have been able to create one of my strongest pieces to date.
Andrea is a go-to if you are looking to TRULY improve your art skills. She will not withhold her feedback from you and will push you to create the best that you can. I was able to get a glimpse of the real discipline it takes to create fine masterpieces, and receiving instruction under her gave me much more value than just a simple art piece. She taught me good habits, crucial art concepts, and critical painting techniques that are universally transferable to all of my future art pieces.

Andrea is an amazing artists! She is a very talented, professional in her field of artistry. Her work evokes human emotions that can only be captured by her eye for detail. I love her work as well as working with her. She is patience and very attentive to her clients needs when recreating a portrait.

She’s an amazing teacher and human being. The work she does is nothing short of stunning and her teaching style is great for helping you create pieces you never would have imagined you could do in the past. She has such a warm heart and the pieces you create in her class are cultivated to what you personally need/want to work on. I love her whole family and would 100% recommend taking lessons with her.

Andrea conducted several private lessons with my son, who is now 13. She was very patient with him and enabled him to create some exceptional work. He is very talented but quality teachers are essential to produce quality work at such a young age.
