FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Any jobs under an hour will be charged as a flat rate of their hourly rate given for the job. Then in general it's just the hourly rate times however many hours of work is done.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, I schedule the appointment to do the job. Then we meet and they show me the jobs they have for me to do. Then I let them know what I think about the work they have and whether I can do it . Then I start the job from start to finish
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I oddly started doing this type of work Bc of my girlfriend encouraged me to. I've grown up always being really hands-on and fixing things but never thought it was something to utilize as work. I'm very determined, prideful of my work I do, honest, like to communicate, hard working, like to make sure I do a good job, and make sure a customer is happy in the end! I love being able to establish a nice and comfortable connection with people and not just some stranger there to repair or fix something in their home. Another reason I got started doing this work was I was tired of slaving away for someone else and wanted something that was mine that I could be happy about and not be the slave anymore but the main man instead!!! It feels good that my hard work is for myself and not to make someone else look good!!!
