Our typical workflow goes as follows: a) Schedule call (ideally), messaging through thumbtack and/or texting works as well b) Obtain all relevant information about the project in order to provide our clients and prospective client with an accurate estimate c) Process information to create the most accurate estimate possible and deliver to prospect d) Allow time for prospect to review said estimate e) Prospect either declines (no hard feelings) or accepts the estimate f) Upon accepting estimate, we immediately schedule an appointment to get started
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been a Mr. Fix-It for as long as I can remember. I first developed my interest in the trades in my youth, where I used to accompany my uncle (general contractor) on jobs during summer breaks. He taught me how to use the tools, how to stay safe and perhaps most importantly, he taught me how to approach different problems that we were bound to encounter. The training that my uncle provided me over the years proved to be invaluable as my first home purchase was a fixer-upper--I was able to complete almost all of the renovations on my own. To answer the prompt directly, I have no formal degree/certificate at this present time e.g. with an accredited school, however I am currently pursuing a certification in construction management at the SRJC.
