We had a list of tasks to be done around the house that had really piled up. I was hesitant to hire someone after a previous not-great experience, but man, I am SO happy we did! Chip has been fabulous (he is coming regularly now, just "chipping" away at our list). He is responsive, punctual, and maintains a high level of professionalism, while at the same time being extremely personable and exuding warmth and kindness. It should tell you something that our two generally timid dogs are fans, as is our toddler, who will follow him around the house asking "Chip, watcha doin? Watcha doin, Chip?" He comes well-prepared in terms of tools/supplies and takes care to do things right, even if it takes a little longer (which I very much appreciate...it's not helpful for someone to get something done in a flash if it'll just need redoing soon after). He will collaboratively prioritize tasks to maximize efficiency. He speaks up if there's an issue (e.g., if we are missing a necessary part, there is previous work/damage that needs to be addressed first, etc.) His background gives him great versatility to tackle a wide variety of projects, which has proven invaluable. He has taken such a weight off of our shoulders and has helped us get closer to the vision we have for our home.
