FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For students who are looking to take consistent weekly lessons, I charge for lessons on a monthly basis at the first lesson of the month. For students who desire to take lessons on a less frequent basis (eg. one lesson per month or just one lesson to work on a specific goal), I charge at the time of the lesson. My rates are listed below: 30-minute lesson: $45 45-minute lesson: $65 1-hr lesson: $85 If 2 or more students in the same household take lessons with me, I can offer up to a $5 discount per week.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically, I schedule a one-time trial class with new students. During the first class, we can discuss goals, and the student can be introduced to my teaching style. I charge $40 for a 30-minute trial class.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Growing up, I took private piano lessons and vocal lessons. I have participated in vocal ensembles since the age of 12. I received a minor in Music from San Francisco State University, and I have continued to study with various piano and vocal teachers post-graduation to refine my training. Along with this, I am a recording and performing artist. I have experience recording in studio sessions as well as performing live.
