FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I believe in transparent pricing that allows our clients to better plan and budget for their projects. To achieve this, I charge based on a per square foot rate. This means that you'll know exactly how much you going to pay, and what you're paying for and you won't be surprised by any hidden fees or unexpected charges. Our pricing approach is designed to give you peace of mind, so you can focus on enjoying the process of designing a space that you'll love for years to come.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
As an interior designer, my typical process for working with a new customer begins with a consultation where I aim to understand their personal style, preferences, and vision for their space. This often includes an in-person visit to the site to take accurate measurements and gain a comprehensive understanding of the space. During this initial meeting, I also take the opportunity to get to know my clients on a personal level, by understanding their lifestyle, habits, and routines. This information helps me tailor the design to meet their specific needs and preferences, resulting in a space that not only looks beautiful but also functions seamlessly with their daily lives. Additionally, I encourage clients to share any inspirational photos of spaces they admire, as this can serve as an excellent starting point for the design process. Ultimately, my goal is to collaborate with my clients to create a space that reflects their unique personality and style while also meeting their functional needs.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design from Michigan State University. Following my education, I gained a year of experience working in the Lansing, MI area before relocating to Santa Monica, where I have been working in residential design in the Los Angeles and surrounding areas for the past five years.
