FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
At Make The Move, we have a personal connection to the moving industry. We started this company after successfully relocating our own family, all by ourselves. We rented a truck, did our own research on packing, and executed the move with great success. Working together as a family on this important project brought us even closer together and showed us the power of teamwork. We enjoyed the experience so much that we decided to turn it into a career, and now we are proud to offer our services to others who are going through the same process. At Make The Move, we understand the importance of a smooth and stress-free move, and we are committed to providing our clients with exceptional service at an affordable price.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
Recently, we had the opportunity to step in and help a woman who had been left stranded by another moving company. Despite the last minute notice and the tight timeline, our team worked diligently to pack up her belongings and transport them to her new place. We were determined to help her out and ensure that she could start her new job as planned. The experience was challenging, but our team remained positive, professional, and focused on making a difference in someone's life.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
1. Do your research: Research multiple moving companies in your area and compare their rates, services, and reviews. Make sure to check if they are licensed and insured. 2. Get an estimate: Ask for a free, written estimate from each moving company you are considering. Make sure the estimate includes all fees and charges, and ask for clarification if anything is unclear. 3. Ask questions: Don't be afraid to ask questions about the moving process, including packing, loading, transportation, and unloading. A reputable moving company should be happy to answer any questions you have. 4. Plan ahead: Try to schedule your move as far in advance as possible, especially if you are moving during peak season. This will give you and the moving company plenty of time to prepare. 5. Be prepared: Make sure you are ready for the movers on moving day. Have your boxes packed, furniture disassembled (if necessary), and a clear path for the movers to carry your items.
