- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Lesson fees are $40 per half hour if done in store at Jensen's Music or remotely via Zoom. For in-home private lessons, I charge $90 per half hour lesson.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
If a new student has never played the guitar before, I have a system and program I've developed to get them launched and playing songs very quickly. If a new student has already played before, I look at what they've already been doing and try to fix any bad habits or inefficiencies they have in their movement, mechanics, and musical knowledge, and then help launch them towards a new and higher level of playing.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated from Guitar Institute of technology (GIT) in Hollywood. I've been a performing musician for 30 years. I've been teaching guitar lessons for nine years
