Welcome! I’m Yoonjeong Park, a passionate pianist, composer, and educator with over a decade of professional experience in both classical and jazz music. My journey began in a musical household and has taken me to prestigious institutions like Berklee College of Music, where I majored in Jazz Composition, and California State University, Long Beach, for my master’s in Jazz Piano Performance. I’m currently pursuing a Doctor of Musical Arts degree at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, while teaching undergraduate jazz piano students.
I specialize in personalized piano lessons tailored to each student’s goals and interests, whether you’re a beginner or an advanced player. My teaching approach emphasizes creativity, solid technique, and a deep understanding of music theory, helping students explore styles ranging from classical to jazz and beyond.
In addition to teaching, I’m an active performer and arranger, and I’m currently authoring a book on jazz improvisation. My mission is to inspire students to develop their unique musical voice while fostering a lifelong love of music.
Whether you're preparing for performances, aiming to improve your improvisation skills, or just starting your musical journey, I’m here to guide you every step of the way. Let’s make music together! :)
