Our music studio is located in North Tustin, California where students have the opportunity to play on a Yamaha G3 grand piano and participate in recitals twice a year. About KEIKA MORI: -Bachelor of Music (Manhattan School of Music) -Master of Music (Manhattan School of Music) -Faculty Member and Staff Accompanist at Irvine Music Festival -Member of Music Teachers’ Association of California. -My students have won prizes at various competitions, including the MTAC South Coast Branch Festivals, Southwestern Youth Music Festival, and Golden Classical Music Awards (international). Biography: Japanese-American classical pianist Keika Mori enjoys a versatile career as a solo pianist, chamber musician, collaborative pianist, and teacher. She has performed in concerts and recitals throughout the United States, Italy, and Japan. Keika is a prizewinner of multiple competitions including the Tureck International Bach Competition, National Young Artists Chamber Music Competition, Sound Symphony Concerto Competition, Yonkers Philharmonic Concerto Competition, and the AMTL Scholarship Awards Competition. She received honorable mention at the 2020 Eisenberg-Fried Concerto Competition performing Bartok Piano Concerto No.2 and also received honorable mention at the 2016 Eisenberg-Fried Concerto Competition performing the Barber Piano Concerto. Recently, Keika was a finalist at the 2022 Frances Walton Competition in Seattle. She made her orchestral debut at age 15 with the Yonkers Philharmonic Orchestra in New York and has also performed as soloist with the Sound Symphony Orchestra in Long Island, NY. Keika has also been selected to perform in masterclasses with well renowned pianists including Robert McDonald, Jerome Lowenthal, Emanuel Krasovsky, Alessio Bax, and Jose Ramon Mendez. She has participated in the International Academy of Music in Italy and the Stony Brook International Piano Festival in New York, where she had the opportunity to study and perform both solo and chamber music. As an active collaborative pianist, Keika frequently performs with instrumentalists in New York City, Los Angeles, and Orange County, CA. Her favorite works include Franck Violin Sonata, Debussy Cello Sonata, Mendelssohn Cello Sonata No. 2, and Brahms Clarinet Sonata No. 2. In Orange County, Keika has been accompanying numerous violin studios in the area. Keika has a passion for teaching and has students in both the West and East Coast. She currently runs a piano studio in North Tustin, CA, where her students are top prize winners at numerous competitions including Golden Classical Music Awards, Southwestern Youth Music Festival, and MTAC South Coast Branch festivals. Her students have performed in Carnegie Hall, Steinway Hall, Merkin Hall, and Walt Disney Concert Hall. Keika Mori is also currently a faculty member at FreshStart Music Studio in Irvine. Keika Mori completed both her Bachelor of Music and Master of Music degree from the Manhattan School of Music under the tutelage of Phillip Kawin. Her chamber music coaches include renowned artists such as Laurie Carnie, Wolfram Koessel, and Peter Winograd. Keika also studied with Miyoko Nakaya Lotto at the Manhattan School of Music Precollege division.

Keika is a wonderful piano teacher for my wild young boys (6 and 8 years old). Keika personalize the material for each of their level and interest. Therefore, boys enjoy practicing piano and having fun with it.
