Introduction

My name is Maria de Los Angeles Gomez. I am from Mexico. I have been a bilingual teacher since 1982. I hold a teacher credential from California. And I have a masters degree on Education emphasis on Learning Design and Technology. I have worked as a bilingual teacher in San Diego City School, Chula Vista, San Ysidro and South Bay School Districts. I have given support as a tutor in ESL and Spanish students. I am working presently in a company that gives support all around the country. The company name is Elevate Learning K-12. I am teaching online using Teams, Zoom and Meet. I like to teach all ages as everyone learns at their own pace. I hope to hear from you soon. Besides the two languages English and Spanish, I teach Biology, Language Arts, Geography, History, and Elementary Math. Classes will be in the morning from 9 to 2 pm and afternoon from 5-7 Pacific Time.

Angeles was absolutely wonderful! She was patient, kind, and simply a pleasure to be with. I was hesitant about my Spanish speaking skills living in San Diego. I needed to sharpen them for my job, she took the time to simply converse me. If I made mistakes with grammar or vocabulary she gently corrected and moved forward. She’s an amazing teacher, truly! I valued her time so much that I signed my girls up for classes with her. I’d recommend her time and time again!

I liked the way Mrs. Gomez taught me Spanish. She was providing step by step pronunciations. How I had to move my lips and tongue. Now I am able to communicate.
