With my wife and I both working long hours in the demanding healthcare force, as new parents, we are very busy and paranoid about the safety and well-being of our home and family. We shopped around for months to have our cameras, doorbell, and security system integrated and installed in our home. Ultimately, we chose Jacob and specifically had a 6-camera PoE system, local NVR, and a video doorbell installed in our brand-new build home by Jacob. From start to finish, he showed exceptional professionalism, skill, and attention to detail. He listened to all my concerns and addressed every little thing I mentioned, even the things that had slipped my mind. He was thorough, concise, all while being kind and patient. 

A major highlight was how Jacob collaborated with my home builder early in the construction process. There were aspects the building was unwilling to change or modify but after speaking with Jacob, they did it because they realized Jacob’s recommendations would improve the efficiency of the builders and how the home was operated alike. He worked closely with them to plan the optimal placement of camera wiring, Ethernet jacks, junction boxes, and the central wiring cabinet. His proactive communication ensured the system was integrated smoothly while still keeping everything neat and organized. All the while, keeping my family and I in the know such that our questions and concerns were always addressed.

Another impressive feature is how he seamlessly integrated the camera and doorbell feeds with my Google Home hub and Simplisafe alarm system. Now I can effortlessly view live video on any of my smart displays, and arm/disarm my security system in a single screen instead of going to different apps! As a medical professional, it’s an incredible peace of mind knowing what’s happening around my home no matter where I am in real time. With my busy schedule, it does not matter the day, time, weather, or anything else, I have full access to all aspects of my home with the touch of a button thanks to Jacob. 

Overall, Jacob went above and beyond in delivering an outstanding security solution. He meticulously positioned the cameras for full coverage, ensured the wiring was concealed, and patiently walked me through using the local NVR. He made sure it was done exactly as I wanted and worked with me to ensure we were always on the same page. The result is crisp and clear video, day or night, and a setup that’s incredibly user-friendly. I am terrible with technology so this entire thing was intimidating but he made it so simple and clear I could not have asked for anything better.

I recently built a brand-new, state-of-the-art dental practice from the ground up, and I cannot express enough how instrumental Jacob was in making everything come together. From the moment the space was just bare studs, he worked hand-in-hand with our architect to update the blueprints for all data, audio, security, and IT needs—even advising on optimal electrical circuit specs and outlet placement to properly accommodate our advanced systems and battery backups. Jacob designed our IT cabinet layout and collaborated with cabinet makers to ensure all hardware—from routers and switches to patch panels—fit seamlessly. He also helped us select and purchase high-quality cabling for a 2.5Gb Ethernet infrastructure, an audio system, and thermostats. Every cable he ran was meticulously organized, labeled, and terminated, passing all city inspections with flying colors. One of his most impressive feats was coordinating with AT&T to bury our fiber optic cable instead of running it overhead. He personally oversaw the installation of a conduit from the IT room to the street, preserving our building’s clean look and avoiding an unsightly cable in front of the practice. After the install, he tested each Ethernet port to ensure maximum performance for all our devices. In addition, Jacob installed a robust 16-camera PoE 4K security system with a local recorder and an integrated alarm. After installing and configuring our Eaglesoft software, he seamlessly integrated our imaging and fabrication equipment, enabling us to capture patient images and fabricate implants or crowns in-house with minimal turnaround time. He even ensured all installed technology matched the desired modern and clean aesthetic of our practice—down to selecting sleek mice and keyboards that perfectly complement the overall design. Overall, Jacob’s expertise, attention to detail, and commitment to collaboration made him an invaluable partner in creating our dream dental practice.
