Coach Nick was great!! My nephew was in a bit of a hitting slump, so we contacted Coach Nick to help my nephew. Coach Nick was very helpful, knowledgeable, and just overall a great coach! My nephew is shy, but he made my nephew feel comfortable and gain some confidence back through Coach Nick's words of encouragement. The follow-up assessment was helpful to give my nephew an idea of where he stands. He provided my nephew with tips and drills he can use at home to strengthen his skills. Since then, my nephew has been hitting again and has made great progress! Thanks Coach Nick!

I have had the pleasure of knowing Coach Nick Holmes for over 5 years as Director of Coaching for the Community youth baseball Association our son played with and as head coach of our son’s 14U summer rep baseball team. Coach Nick has also provided tremendous individualized coaching tips, hitting techniques, University planning and off-field support to our teenage baseball player. In addition to utilizing the latest technology, Nick always has the perspective that baseball is more than just on-field plays and winning percentages. As much as he is a competitor, he guides the youth players to understand that learning, goal-setting, working hard in school & on improving skills, having fun, and making connections are crucial. He models respect for the game, each player, the coaches and officials. His love of baseball is infectious, he has great rapport with players, his coaching team and parents. He speaks knowledgeably, honestly and with kindness. Coach Nick is an amazing resource for emerging baseball players!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
TERMS AND AGREEMENT ALL fees are non-transferable and non-refundable. A 90 day commitment is required. Clients must book a weekly private lesson in advance using the booking calendar. ALL submitted videos have a 24-48 hour turnaround time for evaluation. ALL lessons are non-transferable and non-refundable. In case of illness or emergency 24 hrs cancellation notice is required to avoid charges.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I teach from a progressive growth mindset and understand that a “cookie cutter” approach is not the answer. No two players are alike and they all learn differently. The job of a coach is knowing when to push and when to pull and why? First session is 90+ mins to determine: 1. Full body movement assessment. 2. Athlete Capacity Evaluation (ACE) Benchmark testing 3. Video of swing, throwing and fielding. 4. Set up Athlete Digital Profile in order to communicate and receive weekly workouts and drills. 5. Daily Athletic Performance Survey (DAPS) required weekly. 6. Rinse and repeat process for newly acquired goals as we move forward. 7. Focus on the process not the results.
