Mary was pivotal to two remodeling projects we did over the course of a couple years. She’s very patient and the right amount of prescriptive in the design process, and we arrived at a great blend of things we knew we wanted and things we had no idea we wanted. I particularly valued her advice and coaching through the remodel process; while she was not our project manager, she helped us understand the best way to manage our contractor and architect, and made time to meet with them and make sure they executed precisely to the design. We wish we had involved Mary earlier in the whole process! Highly recommended for your major remodel team!

We loved working with Mary. The design for our laundry room was fun, and just what we wanted. The project grew in scope (had to renovate our entire bottom floor), and there were delays (not related to Mary), but she was with us every step of the way. We were pleased with the process and outcome.

I’m a first-time home buyer, and my family and I just moved into a lovely new home with a very dated kitchen. I hired Mary to help me with my kitchen refresh. She was amazing. From the beginning, she was straightforward and responsive and paid attention to detail. She honored my vision and listened to my concerns. There was no point in haggling because she quoted me a very fair price from the very beginning. She walked me through each step and shared how the contractors work and any potential obstacles to our timeline. Throughout the entire process, Mary was very communicative. I am so glad I made the investment of working with Mary to transform my home! She designed my living room, dining room, and playroom that make up the main area of my home and I get endless compliments on them whenever guests come over. She really took into account my own personal preferences and pieces I already had and wanted to use, which I appreciated. She came up with solutions for things that I had always struggled with how to make things functional and still aesthetic. She helped me turn my home into my sanctuary that I love being in. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have an hourly rate of $175 Color consultations are flat rated anywhere from $450 and $750 for exterior
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After having a chat about the project via phone or email, an in home consultation is typically scheduled. After the consultation I start creating design boards and/or 3D drawings for my clients to see how things will look together and to help make decisions on what pieces to start purchasing.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Certified in Kitchen & Bathroom design. Sustainable design, Space Planning, Architectural Drafting, Lighting Design, Modern Furniture, Color concepts, materials & finishes, and Staging. Proficient in Sketchup, auto CAD, and Chief Architect, design software programs.
