Caroline took care of our dog for almost a week while we were on vacations. This was our first time leaving our dog behind and we were very nervous about it. Caroline gave us confidence with her professionalism, she is background checked and also has insurance. She came to our place for a visit before the actual stay, to learn about our dog. She asked us many questions and provided a doc to give her instructions. During the trip, she sent us pictures 3+ times a day. She is a great photographer, and her updates where always fun. We were waiting each day to hear from her, to learn what was our little dog up to. I highly recommend her, I will hire again for future trips.

**Response to Review:** Hi Elizabetta, I’m sorry to hear you feel this way, but I’d like to clarify a few things. We never initiated any formal business arrangement, I never provided care for your dogs, and I made every effort to communicate with you professionally and promptly. When you initially reached out, you mentioned needing overnight care for your dogs due to an upcoming surgery. I offered the dates I was available (Dec 10–19) and clearly explained my rate structure. I even offered to charge for only one dog instead of three out of empathy for your situation. Unfortunately, when you contacted me on Thanksgiving—five days after my initial response—I had already booked another client. Since I provide dedicated care to only one family at a time, I was no longer available. Without a confirmed booking, deposit, or signed agreement, I was free to accept another job. Additionally, it seemed your request shifted from overnight care to drop-in visits, which is not a service I offer. My services focus exclusively on consecutive overnight care, as outlined in my offerings. I strive to provide excellent care to every client and their pets, and I’m sorry we weren’t able to work together. I wish you and your dogs all the best. For transparency, I’ve included a portion of our conversation below: **Elizabetta:** Call me to talk about what we can work out. **Caroline:** Hi Elizabetta, Unfortunately, I'm now booked during that time. Caroline was a fantastic dog and house sitter! She gave us lots of updates and was very thorough. Our dogs can be a handful so her patience was appreciated! She spent all 5 days at the house not coming and going often like some other sitters- our dogs loved the company! Caroline was kind enough to wash her bedding and make a cute Christmas photo card of our dogs. Would highly recommend her!
