Hired Javier to tile the bathroom shower and floor. He ended up having a friend complete the actual work since he ended up being busy on another project. His replacement let me know that this wasn't his day job and wanted to get the work done as quickly as possible which was clear from the crooked placement of several tiles. There was no good communication on expectations. That guy got injured in the middle of the project and Javier brought in his third string of tilers who did not appear to be professional tilers. They couldn't speak English so I wasn't able to communicate to them anything that I wanted. We had to have them redo the floor as they laid the tiles without properly spacing them and some were not level. Had to have them fix the crooked tiles on the wall too. At no point did I see a laser level or even a straight edge being used. Many of the tile cuts don't appear to even have been measured first, just eyeballed as they don't properly fill the spaces resulting in super large grout lines in comparison to the other lines. In the end, the walls and floors ended up looking good, however they completely botched the shower boxes with large and thin grout lines and completely sloppy grout placement. Some grout even missing in one seam. An extreme lack of attention to detail. I let them know several times I wasn't happy with how the boxes were looking during the work but real fixes were never made. In the end, Javier didn't fix the grouting of the boxes or even caulk anything, he just knocked $200 off the price and told us he was too busy to do anything more. Wish he would have just backed out of the work when he knew he couldn't do it himself or have fired them after the first day. Husband has spent working working on fixing the boxes which was not another project we needed trying to complete an entire house reno before our move-in date. Avoid the headache and stress of using this company.

I hired Javier to help with reframing and drywall in a closet converted wine bar along with demoing a few areas in the home. He was always very polite and responsive and always ready to help. There was a little bit of a hiccup in the beginning when the demo started with the closet, but we ended up getting it fixed and he was able to complete the work as intended. He drywall and added new base boards to the area, it looked great!
