FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Some times one session is enough, (but usually not). My fee for one session is $175. including tax. For a more realistic successful outcome I have found that 3 sessions work. Therefore I wanted to offer a discount of $145.00 per session. This is why I created the "3 Pack." where each session is priced at $145.00. For the 3 Pack you pay $435 up front, which covers all three sessions. Please keep in mind that the payment for the remaining two sessions is non-refundable once the first session is complete. This arrangement saves on time and administrative costs so I pass these savings on to you. To achieve the best results, it's important to keep your sessions as close to once a week as possible. (A further example of pricing for the 3 pack would be if you purchased a 3 pack of your favorite beverage and consumed one, you can not return the unused bottles for a refund.) If you have any more questions about this, please let me know.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, we begin with you letting me know on the TT message board 2 or 3 suggestions as to when you would like to schedule your free 15 minute consultation. (M-F 10:00 - 5:00 PST). Once your consultation is scheduled, I will call you at that time. I will ask you questions about what results you want. I want to hear everything you have to say and what changes you would like to achieve. Then I explain to you our approach based on what you shared with me. Each approach is unique to each individual. I'll explain my plan and what direction and goals we will accomplish with hypnosis. The purpose for this consultation is to make sure you are comfortable with the process. From there you may decide to hire me. Your first session will be about an hour and a half. Then I'll ask you to get into a comfortable position with your speaker phone on where we can easily hear each other. We also put our phones on "do not disturb." It is important that you be in a space where no one will walk through or around your room. Also that animals are secured in another location for maximum relaxation. My approach is client based where you might be given some short assignments to do in between sessions to support the results. Some of these activities might include writing, breathing techniques, visualization, and easy exercises.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I earned a Masters Degree in acupuncture (Traditional Acupuncture Institute) and during my 20 plus years of practice I have helped many people over-come stress. As an acupuncturist, I found that most of my clients' illnesses and complaints were caused by stress. I eventually began to incorporate hypnotic techniques along with the acupuncture. This inspired me to become formally trained from the National Guild of Hypnotists in Marlborough MA, and to further my training with the HMI institute. I am skilled at getting to the root of the problem offering effective, result oriented hypnosis. I am double certified with two professional organizations for hypnotherapy. One is the National Guild of Hypnotists, the oldest and most respected guild for professional Hypnotherapists in the U.S. I am also a graduate of the Hypnosis Motivation Institute, which is the only accredited college of hypnotherapy in the world. Although my web site illustrates many hours of additional training certifications, my specialty is weight issues. I collaborate with other physicians and medical professionals to help their patients stay in compliance with the health recommendations suggested by the physician or healthcare practitioner. I am currently a proud member of both the National Guild of Hypnotists, and the American Association of Hypnotherapy.
