In September 2024, technician Aaron Robert Phillips of Wighton's came to my home to see about a faucet that seemed to be dripping.I was not able to replicate the dripping in his presence. Aaron remarked that the tap looks fairly new and advised that the problem may be that the valve is not turned off completely by me, and showed me how to do it. He didnt want to put in a new cartridge unnecessarily.I was impressed with his honesty, and asked Aaron to look at a botched job left by a plumber that I used to trust. Plumber X was to replace the cartridge in a bathtub shower valve to make it easier for me to operate the calcified pull-out handle. Sadly, X stripped a screw in the behind-the-wall mount of the diverter valve, leaving me with an unsightly misaligned cover plate with a gaping hole. I was told by X that to put things right, a new valve would need to be installed - requiring cutting a 14x14 hole in the wall, and at a cost of $1K.Wighton's technician Aaron P. examined the situation, and proposed a way to replace the valve from the front of the wall. A relatively big hole will need to be cut on the fiberglass enclosure, which can then be covered with a stylish oval-shaped plate made by Moen for the new valve.I was skeptical, but after much research decided to go with Aarons proposal.My reservations and worries proved groundless. First thing in the morning on the appointed day (a Monday), Aaron showed up in a Wighton's van, and, in under 3 hours, the valve and accessories were in place. (I had unnecessarily kept many buckets of water on hand, fearing the work would take a while whle the water is shut off, which is what happened with Plumber X.)I cannot be happier. The shower/bath tap is now a turning lever that can be operated with ease; the larger cover plate is unobtrusive. And all the fixtures were properly installed by Aaron, flush against the fiberglass wall, as I requested.Whether the valve will work well for long, only time can tell. But judging by the workmanship, I have confidence that a problem that has been gnawing at me has been taken care of.Thank you, Mr. Aaron Phillips!

My experience with Wighton's Plumbing met my expectations! They offered me a great deal on a furnace and ac with an April Air hepa filter. Their team of technicians installed the equipment within days of signing the contract. The Comfort Advisor answered ALL of my many questions about how the systems work. He continues to communicate with me when I have questions about my Ecobee smart thermostat. I highly recommend Wighton 's team of technicians and specialists.
