FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My in-person rate is $195/hour. My online rate is $175/hour. My sessions are typically two hours long because I find that hits the sweet spot of allowing us to get into the material without you getting too tired of me.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I offer premium one-on-one tutoring for students who are preparing for the GMAT, LSAT or GRE. I customize individual sessions to the learning style and needs of each student to help my students increase their test scores!
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
It's all about credentials. You will find people that are willing to tutor for very low rates. Make sure you ask them: - Do you have a 99th percentile score on the test you're tutoring? - Do you have experience teaching and tutoring the test you're tutoring? - Can you provide a list of satisfied customers who are willing to attest to your skills as a tutor? - Do you focus on the tests you tutor or is this just a part-time hobby?
