I am available for tutoring children in Kindergarten through 8th Grade in multiple subjects including math, reading comprehension, phonics, spelling, writing, grammar, science, and social studies. I have a BS degree in Liberal Studies from National University, a California Multiple Subject teaching credential, and over 15 academic years of teaching experience. I have also taken courses at the University of California, Santa Cruz in Biology and Santa Clara University in Anthropology. My clients include children from public and private schools in Cupertino, Saratoga, San Jose, Santa Clara, Sunnyvale, Campbell and Los Gatos. I also teach/tutor English as a second language to children. I tutor in the Santa Clara County vicinity and travel up to 20 miles from my South San Jose base. I do not do editing of large documents for book publishing. I do not tutor adults. I tutor in-person only. I offer discounts to families with two or more children being tutored. Please do not contact me if you are from a tutoring center looking for tutors to tutor large groups.

I hired Frances to tutor my 5 year old son twice a week for about 7 months - we only stopped because we had to move. She was teaching English reading and writing to my son. She did an excellent Job, and my son really enjoyed learning with her. She made learning fun for him and he looked forward to learning sessions with her. Thank you Ms Frances for all your help.
