If the most important factor for you is which instructor has a lower price for a certain amount of time, please go with the cheaper option. If you value absolute dedication, established track records, and enjoy setting up a perfect learning environment for you or your child, please keep reading. When choosing you or your child’s instructor, please consider:
Do they have a great track record? Where are their reviews? Where are their hires and track record of successful outcomes, and what are the lesson volumes they fulfill each month? Do they have experience working with the most demanding and challenging clients and situations to bring that experience and know-how to YOU? If not, our services aren’t equal.
Is your instructor or trainer as invested or dedicated? Are they teaching 8-9 hours a day, 7 days a week, continuously and relentlessly expanding their experience? If they aren’t, perhaps there are better ways to ensure faster outcomes. More engaging lesson plans, with an instructor with higher enthusiasm and maximal mutual interest that you know will excite your child for swim lessons.
Do they have ready access to pools? How are the condition of the pools they have access to and is it optimal for the conditions of teaching you and your child? Is it heated and warm enough for a young child? Long enough for specific conditions such as for competitive swimming? If they don’t, do you want to hustle and spend time teaching this guy and describing things and how to do things you think they should know, or do you want a professional that can give you a suitable plan and a solution in a snap?
Are they doing volume like we’re doing volume? Every instructor says they have 100 years of experience, but the work is not on par. The more important factor is how they interact when they talk to you, and to get a sense of, does this guy put in 7 days a week fully dedicated like I will, or do they have other commitments? You rest, you rust. Please ask, do they have 100 years of HIGH QUALITY experience they seemed like they spent focused on being dedicated in improving their craft which can be sensed with as simple of a question as asking, what would be the way they would handle a problem you or your child has in their swimming?
Do they actually have a swimming background or are they memorizing off some script they learned rather than ever having done it themselves? If they’re just memorizing off a script, how can you know what they’re doing actually works, when they’ve never PERFORMED what they’re teaching themselves? Again, not equal. 12 years competitive swimming experience, national team at Santa Clara Swim Club, D1 at UCSD.
If you want to be helped seriously, value your time, and the outcome you’re getting from your instructor is important to you reach out please. We don’t want to sell to everyone. Just swimmers that are very interested, passionate, and focused.
